The map of North America showing Texas as an independent Republic. Missing the map of the United States but have 12 out of the 13 maps listed. NOTE: Map of North America showing Texas as an independent republic is worth the cost of the atlas. Old Antique School ATLAS containing the following MAPS - #1- The world on Globular Projection #2 - The World and Chart, #3 - North America, #4 missing map, #5 Map of Eastern States, #6 Map of middle states, #7 Map of Southern States, #8 Map of Western States, # 9 Map of South america #10 - Map of Europe, #11 Map of Asia, #12 Map of Africa, #13 A Chart. This Atlas is a nice antique with many nice Maps. There are 4 double page Maps and many single page Maps, all are one sided or blank on back side. CONDITION: There is heavy wear on covers and stains and soling (see pictures).
Missing map of the United states. There is staining and foxing on pages but the Maps look good with age tanning and foxing (see pictures). The Atlas is 11 1/2" x 9" x 1/2 with soft covers. PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR CONDITION. This is a very rare Atlas and is hard to find WITH MAP OF NORTH AMERICA SHOWING TEXAS INDEPENDENCE.
