The map is one of a set of maps that relate to the Continent of Africa ; being once used as a teaching aid at Wisbech High School for Girls ; that can trace its origins as far back as 1379 - thus one of the oldest continuous schools in England. The map itself is not a roll down map but a folded map and when unfolded becomes an attractive wall map. The map also has the school's stamp dated 1928 stamped on it and is a Philips' Comparative Wall Atlas Map; being made from light canvas. Condition : is in good condition in relation to age however when folded a minor repair to the fold has been made but can't be seen when hung. Measurements : length 112 cm / width 88 cm.
